Practical functions of smart capacitors

Intelligent capacitor is modularized structure, small volume, simple field wiring, easy maintenance. Only need to increase the number of modules can realize the expansion of reactive power compensation system. Smart capacitors have many special functions again, such as:
(1)Intelligent reactive power compensation controller working mode: when multiple intelligent capacitors are used in parallel, the operating conditions of each capacitor can be referenced, and parameters can be uploaded through the network and the intelligent reactive power compensation controller to accept the intelligent reactive power compensation controller's parameter settings and control commands.
(2) Intelligent capacitor can automatically collect voltage, current, active and reactive power parameters of the circuit, and detect harmonics; (3) Intelligent capacitor can automatically collect voltage, current, active and reactive power parameters of the circuit, and detect harmonics.
(3) According to the collected parameters, it can operate the reactive power compensation control algorithm and decide the two-stage and cyclic casting of a single smart capacitor.
(4) Smart capacitor has over-voltage, under-voltage, short-circuit, over-current, over-harmonic, three-phase imbalance, over-temperature protection and self-diagnostic function.
(5) Containing communication interface, it can upload intelligent capacitor operating condition parameters and real-time circuit information.
